2 cops killed, 3 wounded in blast near Baaquba
Aswat al-Iraq: Two officers on Wednesday were killed and three police personnel were injured when an explosive device went off near Diala's Baaquba city, according to a local police source."The device exploded on the road linking al-Saadiya district to Imam Wees area, Khanaqin district (155 km east of Baaquba) near an emergency police patrol vehicle," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
