U.S. grants visa to N. Korean diplomat for late Oct. visit
[Kyodo: Korea] The United States said Friday it has given the go-ahead to a planned visit by a senior North Korean diplomat late this month at a time when the two countries are gearing up for direct talks aimed at restarting stalled six-party nuclear disarmament talks.
