Over 100 suspects arrested across Pakistan
Law-enforcement agencies have arrested over 100 suspected militants -- including foreigners -- from various areas of the country, according to a private TV channel and various news agencies. According to the channel, police and Rangers arrested 13 Afghan nationals -- including women and children -- from the Balochistan-Sindh border. Meanwhile, law-enforcement agencies raided two Karachi-bound passenger buses in Kashmore, arresting 35 Afghan nationals, including eight women and three children. In Mardan, an important Taliban leader -- identified only as Faisal -- was arrested. In Islamabad, police arrested 38 suspects, including 18 Afghans nationals. In Kohat, at least 22 suspects -- including 10 Afghan nationals -- were arrested.
