11 Taliban arrested in Swat
Security forces launched a large-scale operation in Charbagh and Khawazakhela tehsils of Swat on Sunday, arresting 11 Taliban -- including a would-be suicide bomber, said officials. At least seven houses owned by Taliban were also demolished, said an ISPR statement by the Swat Media Centre. An unidentified man's body was also found from Khawazakhela. The officials said troops had imposed a curfew in Charbagh and Khawazakhela. Six Taliban surrendered to security forces in Khawazakhela, while troops arrested three Afghan nationals from Mingora.
