'You lie!' outburst boosts S.C. candidates' funds
Rep. Joe Wilson, the South Carolina Republican who shouted "You lie!" during President Obama's health care speech to Congress last month, saw his out-of-state contributions soar, the latest campaign-finance reports show.More than 75% of the money Wilson has reported receiving in 2009 to the Federal Election Commission came from outside his state, compared with 19% in his last election, according to the non-partisan CQ MoneyLine, which tracks money in politics.
