11 Taliban killed in Operation Rah-e-Nijat
Eleven more terrorists have been killed in the ongoing Operation Rah-e-Nijat in South Waziristan, while one soldier was martyred and two others sustained injuries, an ISPR press release said on Thursday. Security personnel consolidated their positions on the Jandola-Sararogha axis and cleared Inzar Kallay of mines, improvised explosive devices and bobby traps. Five terrorists were also killed in Zariwam. On the Shakai-Kaniguram axis, security forces advanced towards Kaniguram. A terrorist training centre was discovered in the northwest of Khaikaeh Narai. The army killed six terrorists and destroyed four bunkers in Kaniguram. On the Razmak--Makeen axis, the army secured Sharakai Sar, Pakalita and Manza Sar. Separately, during Operation Rah-e-Raast in Swat, security forces arrested four suspects from Nawakilli. The forces also seized the driver of terrorist commander Hussain, along with his vehicle, from Balogram.
