Terror of Kafrul's expended carcass found
Police recovered a bullet-hit body of a top listed criminal from Mirpur while an alleged gangster was killed in a "shootout" in Kadamtoli area of the city yesterday.Mirpur police said they had found a body from Ananda Timber Lane near Begum Rokeya Sarani of Mirpur around 7:00am. Officer-in-Charge Zakir Hossain Mollah of Mirpur Police Station told The Daily Star that the relatives of the deceased identified him as Raja, the top terror of Kafrul area. He was accused in several cases including one for murder and absconding for long, OC Zakir Hossain said. The killing might have occurred somewhere else and later the body was left there, police said.
