Yemen recaptures al-Badawi
Yemen security forces captured the nation's most wanted man and another militant who escaped from prison last year after being detained for the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole that killed 17 American sailors, an official said Friday. Jamal Badawi and Fahd al-Quso were arrested in the mountains of southern Abyan province Friday morning, Abyan Gov. Farid Major told The Associated Press. One of the militants and a member of the security forces were wounded in a shootout preceding the arrests, a security official said on condition of anonymity.
