Iraq Shoe Thrower Did It For The Money
The infamous shoe thrower who took aim at President Bush during a press conference in Iraq apparently did it for the money. Muntazer al-Zaidi says in an article printed in the UK Guardian "I blame the media because they said I would become rich for doing what I did, that I would become a multi-millionaire". He went on to say "Though I thank them for their concern for me, all the promises about gifts I heard when I was in prison were just empty." from his house in Switzerland that a benefactor has bought for him but he can not furnish.Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
