Kenyan police clash with Muslim protesters
[Iran Press TV Latest] Kenyan police on Friday fired shots and tear gas as they clashed with Muslim demonstrators who demand the release of a Jamaican cleric. At least four demonstrators and one policeman were injured in the violence as police tried to separate crowds gathered after Friday prayers, AFP reported. Protesters were throwing stones at the police and waving banners, urging the release of the cleric. Abdullah al-Faisal has been in Kenyan custody since last week after the authorities failed to deport him.
