Detroit Imam Autopsy Shows 21 GSW's -- Outrage Ensues
Dearborn —An autopsy released today found that Imam Luqman Ameen Abdullah died from 21 bullet wounds during an FBI raid in October of a Dearborn warehouse.The autopsy, released at noon by Wayne County Medical Examiner Dr. Carl Schmidt, concluded the cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds and the manner was homicide. The long-awaited autopsy comes amid calls for an independent investigation into the Oct. 28 shooting. FBI agents have said they were justified in shooting Abdulla because he had opened fire on the agents during a raid on a stolen-goods operation. An FBI dog was killed, prompting agents to return fire. Expect more huffing and puffing by community activists, anything to obscure the answer to the only important question, "Was the shooting justifiable?"
