Hospitalized terror suspect who killed Yemeni policeman' German of Somali origin'
The hospitalized terror suspect who shot policemen in northern Yemen killing one of them on Sunday was a German citizen of Somali origin, the September website reported on Monday.The state-run website quoted a source at al-Jomhori Hospital in the capital, Sana'a, as saying that suspect wanted to escape from the hospital but the attempt was thwarted. One policeman was killed and another was injured when the suspect, identified as Sherif Mobily, took the gun of one of the policemen who were guarding him after he was rushed to hospital almost a week ago and started firing on the policemen. The incident took place when the victim helped Mobily to go to the bath. Mobily then escaped to another room in the hospital but guards caught him.
