Algerian arms trafficker caught with Moroccan ammo in Mercedes
[Maghrebia] Algerian soldiers and gendarmes in El-Bayadh dismantled a major arms trafficking network operating between Morocco and Algeria, Liberte quoted sources as saying on Tuesday (March 23rd). Information provided by a recently-arrested contraband trafficker led authorities to a home in the Tlemcen town of Sidi El-Djilali, where they reportedly uncovered at least 14,000 rounds of 16mm rifle ammunition in the trunk of the resident's Mercedes.
