Roadside bomb kills Algerian civilians
[Maghrebia] A roadside bomb blast Thursday (April 1st) in Algeria's Kabylie region killed a taxi driver and his passenger. The explosion occurred around 1 pm near Ain Zaouia, 35 km south of Tizi-Ouzou. Authorities closed Highway 30, which also serves Bouira, for most of the afternoon.The incident marked the region's first terrorist attack since last October, when six Kabylie civilians were killed in an ambush on their van near Tizi-Ouzou.
