Gunman killed, another wounded in IED blast in Mosul
 NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: A gunman was killed and another wounded in a blast from an improvised explosive device they were trying to plant in northern Mosul city on Thursday, a security source in Ninewa said.The two gunmen were trying to emplace the IED inside a house in al-Rashidiya area, northern Mosul, when it went off, killing one of them and wounding the other,' the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. The army raided the house after the blast and rushed the wounded gunman to a hospital under tight guard,' he added. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.
