QUETTA: Six people, including a superintendent of police, were injured when a bomb went off on Quetta's Qambrani Road on Saturday.
The bomb blast occurred early on Saturday when a police party was patrolling the Qambrani Road as part of beefed up security measures. The bomb that was planted in an auto rickshaw was detonated through a remote control.
The blast injured four policemen, including SP Alam Pirkani, and two passers-by. The injured personnel were moved to the Combined Military Hospital where doctors said the SP and the van's driver were in a critical condition.
