Arms cache seized in Wassit
WASSIT / Aswat al-Iraq: A force from the Internal Affairs Department on Sunday seized a weapons cache in southern Wassit province, a local security source said.A force from the Internal Affairs Department conducted a security operation today (May 9) in al-Dujaili district, (29 km) south of al-Kut, seizing a cache of weapons and munitions,' the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. The cache contained 106 anti-personnel and anti-armor landmines, 13 rockets of various types and a large number of anti-aircraft shells,' the source added.
