US helicopter down in Nassiriya
THI-QAR / Aswat al-Iraq: A U.S. helicopter crashed on Saturday afternoon in the north of Nassiriya city.“The helicopter went down due to a technical malfunction, 25 km north of Nassiriya,' a local security source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. He noted that the helicopter's crew has survived the incident. The source did not mention further details. Nassiriya, the capital city of Thi-Qar province, lies 360 km south of Baghdad.
