4 killed, 10 wounded in car bomb blast in Baghdad
BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Four people were killed and 10 others wounded in a suicide blast from a car bomb attack on a combined checkpoint in western Baghdad on Thursday, a local security source said.A car rigged with explosives and driven by a suicide bomber went off near a combined checkpoint of the army, police and pro-government sahwa (awakening) tribal fighters at the al-Amiriya neighborhood entrance in western Baghdad,' the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
