4 policemen wounded in Mosul blast
NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: An officer and three police personnel were wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) in an area on the outskirts of Mosul city on Sunday, a local security source in Ninewa said.
An IED went off near a police patrol in Dawassa area, just outside Mosul, leaving four policemen, including Lt. Colonel Nazem Hussein, the commander of the Ninewa Police Discipline Department, wounded,' the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
The officer was injured in his leg and now his health condition is stable,' the source added.
