No strikes on Iraq/Iran from Georgia
  • The U.S. has not asked the Georgian leadership for permission to launch antiterrorist strikes against Iran or Iraq from Georgian territory, Shevardnadze told journalists in Tbilisi on 25 March, echoing statements earlier this month by Foreign Ministry spokesman Kakha Sikharulidze and Security Council Deputy Secretary Djemal Gakhokidze.
    Well, shucks. I'm disappointed.
He didn't say that Alabama asked Tblisi to reconquer its homonym in the US so that Alabama can acquire a monopoly on the Chattahochee River's water rights either! You'll be shocked when the Georgian Militia lands by Savannah and Shevardnadze is declared Governor-General in Atlanta.
