8 wounded in blast in southeastern Baghdad
BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Eight persons were wounded on Tuesday when a roadside bomb went off in southeastern the Iraqi capital, at the major highway in Baghdad.
“The blast targeted two state-owned cars at the Mohmmed al-Qassim Highway,' a local police source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
He noted that the eight injuries were inside the two cars that were heavily damaged. The source did not mention further details.
