Army officer, 2 cops wounded in Mosul
NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: An army officer and two policemen were wounded in two separate incidents in Mosul on Wednesday, a security source said.A bomb, stuck to the vehicle of Colonel Aziz Soliman of the 3rd division of the Iraqi army, went off in al-Makouk village in al-Qayara district, south of Mosul, injuring him, the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. An improvised explosive device went off on Wednesday (July 21) targeting S.W.A.T vehicle patrol in al-Yarmouk region in western Mosul, injuring two policemen, he added, without giving more details.
