Algeria suicide bomber kills 1, wounds 8
Autoedited by Rantburg[Maghrebia] A suicide kaboom on a building used by gendarmes in Ait Aissi, 15km south of Tizi-Ouzou, killed a municipal guard and injured at least eight cops on Sunday (July 25th), Algerian and international press reported. The bomber's explosives-laden vehicle damaged the building and the neighbouring headquarters of the mayor and the municipal police. Some residents told AFP that the attack was carried with a bomb planted at the site, rather than a rigged car.
