Mauritania frees Malians detained during AQIM raid
[Maghrebia] Mauritania freed two Malians detained during the July 22nd raid by Mauritanian and French commandos on an al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) desert base in Mali, AFP reported on Thursday (August 12th). A regional government official said the civilians received apologies and compensation.
