Taliban Titzup
Malauwi Ghulam Haideri, the Taliban's acting shadow governor, and Malauwi Shir Agha, a facilitator, were killed in a combined Coalition and Afghan raid in the village of Khwazakheyl in the Sherzad district in Nangarhar province on Aug. 4. Twelve Taliban fighters and several (Afghan officials claimed 15 to 20) civilians were also reported killed.
Were the fighters and the civilians the exact same people - fighters during the battle and civilians after?
"Additionally, he was in direct contact with senior Taliban leadership in Pakistan."
I wonder if his computer, cell phone, & Rolodex were recovered.
Shir Agha, a Taliban facilitator was killed along with Haideri; he was imprisoned in 2007 but had been released for some reason.
