Kimmie, Sonny on visit in China
(Itar-Tass) -- North Korean leader Kim Jong Il crossed the border with China on a special train for a visit to China, the Japanese television company NHK reported on Thursday with the reference to sources in the South Korean government.

"We are inquiring where Kim Jong Il will go by train," they noted. Kim Jong Il's train crossed the border with China early on Thursday morning, they noted.

His younger son and a potential successor Kim Jong Un is accompanying the North Korean leader, the Seoul news television channel WTN reported on Thursday with the reference to a source in the South Korean presidential administration. Kim Jong Un is not ruled out to be presented to the Chinese leadership as a future successor of power in North Korea.

The North Korean leader has already been to China on a five-day visit last May.
