Palestinian militants attack Israeli forces
(KUNA) -- Palestinian militants launched a mortar attack on Thursday on Israeli forces in east-central Gaza Strip.The Palestinian group said in a release handed out here Thursday morning that they had prevented Israeli forces from trying to advance into east Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza Strip by firing three 60-mm mortar shells on them. It claimed that some Israeli soldiers were wounded in the attack as Israeli ambulances were seen at the site. The Palestinian militants said the latest operation came in response to continuing Israeli aggressions on the blockaded Gaza Strip and other occupied Palestinian territories.
