The Bushes do it Again - Surprises "Run for the Fallen"
Bush and LauraH/T Lucianne.com
If you are not familiar with the Run for the Fallen, from their home page:

On the weekend of August 21/22, 2010, we are encouraging anyone, wherever they are, to go out and run/walk one mile for a fallen service member killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Similar to our events in 2008 and 2009, we will post runs here, in order!, by state and country. Please email contact [at] runforthefallen [dot] org with information about your run.

Our goal is to again have all 50 states participate. Last year, there were over 5,000 participants in 35 states and four countries, running a combined total of over 31,000 miles. Help us to continue to honor and remember our service members, bringing people and communities together. Together, let us Run for the Fallen.

OGUNQUIT, Maine: Dozens of runners took part in the event to remember the 65 servicemen and women from Maine who have died overseas since 2001.

Hundreds of people lined the streets from Ogunquit to Portland to greet the people who ran a little more than 40 miles Sunday. There was a sign at each kilometer that included a picture and biography of one of those who died.

When the run ended, people gathered at Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth for a lobster bake. They were surprised with a visit from former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura. They wanted to thank the runners and organizers for this tribute to the fallen.

The Bushes spoke with the families of the servicemen and women who were on hand. The Bushes even posed for pictures with each of the families.
