Iranian Unemployment Has Doubled in the Past Four Years
Farshid Yazdani, director-general of the social and economic planning department at the Social Security Organization, said on 12 April that the number of unemployed in Iran has doubled in the past four years, Iran Daily reported on 13 April. Yazdani attributed this increase mainly to mismanagement, and he added that management shortcomings are ignored and problems are blamed on the workforce instead.
