Levies official, 2 others killed in separate incidents
[Pak Daily Times] Three people, including a Levies spoy, were rubbed out in separate incidents of firing in Quetta, Kalat and Tump, on Saturday.

According to official sources, a Levies official, identified as Masood Ahmed, was on his way home to Tump bazaar, when person or persons unknown on a cycle of violence opened fire on him, abruptly ejecting him from the gene pool. Levies personnel rushed to the spot and shifted the body of their colleague to the District Headquarters Hospital, Kech, for his appointment with Doctor Quincy. Law enforcement agencies termed the incident an assassination.

Meanwhile, in Quetta, gunnies tried to kidnap a shopkeeper, Mohammad Younus, and his lover companion, Mohammad Asad, at the Saryab Road, and at their resistance opened fire on them. Resultantly, Asad keeled over dead and the would-be kidnappers expeditiously departed at a goodly pace. Separately, a man identified as Ali Mohammad Lango was bumped off in Kalat Market, some 145 kilometres southeast of Quetta, by assailants on a motorcycle. Meanwhile, Ajab Khan, a resident of Beautiful Downtown Peshawar, was injured in a firing incident in the Chitkan area of Panjgur district, when the victim was standing close by his shop.
