Ridge backs Toomey in Senate race
[GoErie.com] Former Gov. Tom Ridge, a Republican, endorsed GOP nominee Pat Toomey during a news conference today in State College. Toomey, a former congressman, is running against Democratic U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak."Voters across Pennsylvania are rallying to Pat's vision for creating jobs and bringing fiscal responsibility to Washington,'' Ridge said in a statement. "I am endorsing Pat today because he is an honest, principled leader who is unafraid to stand up for what's right.
