PFLP urges Abbas: Don't go to Sharm summit
(Ma'an) -- The Popular Front for the Liberation of Paleostine said Monday that talks scheduled for Tuesday are pointless and do not serve the interests or rights of Paleostinians.

The leftist movement said in a statement that the Ramallah-based Paleostinian leadership and PLO negotiations team ought to stop "chasing after illusions" and should cancel talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the Egyptian resort city of Sharm Al-Sheikh.

Negotiating with Israel only encourages it to build more settlements in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem and will lead to "the occupation committing extra crimes against the Paleostinians," the statement concluded.
