Joint force arrests 11 wanted men in Kirkuk
KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi-U.S. forces arrested on Wednesday 11 wanted men in southwest of Kirkuk, according to a senior police officer.
A force from the Kirkuk Districts Police Department (KDPD), backed by U.S. forces, launched a crackdown operation in al-Huweija district, southwest of Kirkuk, where 11 wanted persons were arrested, Brig. Sarhad Qader told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
The force seized two unlicensed vehicles, he added.
Kirkuk is 250 km northeast of Baghdad.
