Coahuila: Mexican Army Rescues 14 Abductees
 A detachment of the Mexican Army rescued 14 unidentified kidnap victims near Torreon, Coahuila Monday, say Mexican news accounts. The patrol rode up on a Ford Expedition stopped on the San Pedro-La Cuchilla road near the San Miguel ejido when soldiers heard the cries of the occupants inside. Nine men and five women, all handcuffed and blindfolded and bound with tape with visible wounds from beatings, were released following medical treatment.
