Iran arrests two fake foreign journalists
[Iran Press TV] Iran's judiciary front man says Iranian forces have jugged two foreign nationals who under the guise of journalists sought to gather information on a woman convicted of adultery and murder.The two foreigners went to the home of Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani and conducted an interview with her son, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei said during a weekly press conference on Monday. Authorities were notified by a person close to the family who became suspicious about the foreigners' visit, he said according to a report carried by Mehr news agency. "It turned out that the two people were not journalists -- or that they had no proof for it, and had entered the country as tourists. [They] had asked Ms. Mohammadi's family ... questions," Mohseni-Ejei said. Ashtiani, a mother of two, was found guilty of murdering her husband in collusion with another man, Isa Taheri, who had an affair with the woman.
