4 family members wounded in Balad blast
SALAH AL-DIN / Aswat al-Iraq: Four persons of the same family, including two children, were wounded in an improvised explosive device blast in Balad district, south of Tikrit city, on Saturday, a local police source said.An IED went off as a civilian pick-up truck boarding four persons of the same family in the village of Tal al-Dhahab, east of Yathrib area, Balad, (75 km) south of Tikrit, leaving them seriously wounded, the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
