Bomb kills three soldiers in Khyber
[Dawn] Three Pak soldiers were killed Wednesday when a bomb destroyed their patrol in the Khyber region of the tribal belt on the Afghan border, a military front man said.The soldiers from the paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) were on a routine patrol when the bomb planted by bully boyz hit a vehicle, the front man said. The incident happened in Qambar Khel town, which lies on the route of Nato supply convoys heading to the US-led war effort in Afghanistan. "Three FC soldiers were killed and three maimed," the front man said, blaming "myrmidons" for the attack in a term used by Pak military commanders to denote bad turbans.
