France on alert over terror threat
[Al Jazeera] Security has been tightened across France following warnings of possible attacks.The Eiffel Tower in Gay Paree has been evacuated several times in the last two months and on Thursday, Osama bin Laden released a tape threatening to kill French citizens kidnapped in Niger. There are more than five million Mohammedans in France, and they already feel targeted by the police.
