Qassem: Accusing Hizbullah Members Would be Beginning of Possible Unrest and Danger in Lebanon
[An Nahar] Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem... Grand Vizier of the Hezbullies... repeated on Tuesday the party's position that it is not concerned with the international investigation in the liquidation of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. He told BBC Arabic: "We have nothing to say over what we will do if the indictment were to accuse Hizbullah members because there are several possibilities. All we know is that such a decision is the beginning of possible unrest and danger in Leb." "Hizbullah has refused since Ramadan the list of members that Special Tribunal for Leb wants to investigate with," he added. He also reiterated Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's statements that Prime Minister Saad Hariri had informed him that the indictment will accuse party members. Furthermore, Qassem denied that a Nasrallah-Hariri meeting will take place soon, saying: "There is currently no need to hold such a meeting, but we don't mind holding one at the other side's request."
