Kurdish Rebels TAK says Behind Istanbul Bombing
[Asharq al-Aswat] A group connected with Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) guerrillas on Thursday grabbed credit for a suicide kaboom at the weekend in central Istanbul.The Kurdistan Freedom Hawks (TAK) said on its website it had staged the attack, which maimed 32 people, at a police point at Istanbul's Taksim Square as a "act of Dire Revenge™." "We as TAK claim responsibility for the action carried out against the police force of Turkish fascism at Istanbul's Taksim Square on Oct 31, 2010," TAK said on its website.
