Twin bombings severely injure two in southern Thailand
Two rubber plantation workers were severely injured in two explosions in Narathiwat province on Thursday.Lam La-ongsri, 62, was seriously wounded by shrapnel in his leg and arm when a improvised bomb exploded in the plantation where he worked. According to investigations, the bombing occurred when Mr Lam rode his motorcycle over the location of the explosive. While inspecting the scene, an investigation team found bomb fragments were scattered around the area. About 30 meters from the initial blast, a second explosive also went off.
