AQAP: Mail Plots Successful, Cost Low
[Yemen Post] Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula published on Sunday details of the parcel bombs that were intercepted in Dubai and London in late October before they could reach their destinations in the U.S., saying the plots were successful.

Our goal was to send a message to the West and we already did it, it made clear.

The details including the process of planting the bombs inside printer cartridges and sending them in the form of packages through Yemen were published in Al-Qaeda English language inspire magazine and on a Jihadist website that was designed to talk about the plots, called the bombs of attrition operation.

The cost of the operation was low, about $ 4200, the group said, as it grabbed credit for the explosive parcels shipped onboard UPS freight planes and destroying a UPS cargo plane in Dubai in September killing its two-member crew.

The headlines on the cover of the issue included those about the goals of the operation and its technical details as well as exclusive pictures of the packages before shipping them.

AQAP, described by the U.S. as more dangerous than the main Al-Qaeda group of Bin Laden in Afghanistan, hailed 9/11 attacks and vowed more future attacks but simple and small ones.

"Within our strategy of a thousand cuts, it is more useful that we carry out small attacks with a less number of people and less time. We can evade security barriers which cost the U.S. much."

Moreover, it sent a letter to U.S. President B.O. telling him that the cut-throats had sent the explosive parcels to a Jewish worship place in Obama city, Chicago.

"We struck two of your planes in one year and we will continue to attack your and western interests."
No, my dears, you attempted to strike two planes, but were stopped before accomplishing the intended explosions, either on the airplanes or at the Jewish worship place. Y'all failed. Why don't you go back to booming your neighbors? You're so much better at that.
