Deadly clashes rock east Tehran
Daneshjoo Information Services April 14, 2004 Deadly clashes rocked, today, the Omid district, part of Tehran-Pars, located in the eastern part of the Iranian capital. The regime forces used of bullets and tear-gas in order to smash the popular protest which took place against the illegal appropriation of lands. Residents retaliated to the savage attack by throwing pieces of stones, Molotov cocktails and setting tires ablaze.
