Police Officer Escapes assassination attempt in Abyan Province
Yemen looks an awful lot like Somalia...[Yemen Post] The vice manager of the political security in Abyan General Ahmed Madred, escaped on Monday an apparent assassination attempt after a bomb went kaboom!near his car in Abyan province. Close sources told Yemen Post that the bomb was planted near his home, no causalities were reported. Sources said that Madred was on the Al-Qaeda's wanted list. On the other hand, a police officer was killed in Ahower district in Abyan province by rustics who belong to Al Sanad tribe.
