Fareed Zakaria has been a firm believer in the "Islam is peace", "Bush created the climate for the terrorists", "Terrorists are perverts of Islam". He has a gig on cable TV and writes for Time. He has approximately zero novel thoughts per 10,000 words and seems to be good at picking and choosing the conventional wisdom to support the left narrative.He probably believes that Islam is peace stuffr because his father was an Islamic scholar from Bombay, India and was a muslim ally of Nehru and Indira Ganhdi. Nevertheless, the events of the past week where a liberal reformer was assassinated and his assassination has been praised and celebrated by Islamic Scholars, preachers and their followers get him thinking a little.
