Former Republican Guard officer killed by gunmen in Mosul
NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: A former officer of the Republican Guard was killed on Wednesday by gunmen in eastern Mosul, according to a police source.The gunmen opened fire on the officer in a house in eastern Mosul, killing him instantly, the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
