Kimmie Visits Missile Factory
North Korean leader Kim Jong-il recently inspected what is believed to be the regime's main missile facility located in the northwestern part of South Pyongan Province. According to Japan's Sankei Shimbun, citing U.S. intelligence agencies, the facility produces engines for tanks and missiles, as well as torpedoes like the one used to attack the South Korean warship Cheonan. Analysts say Kim's move is aimed at delivering a threatening message to its neighbors and the U.S. ahead of Chinese President Hu Jintao's trip to Washington this week.
