Afghan Tribal Elder Killed in Bomb Blast
[Tolo News] Afghan tribal elder was killed on Saturday morning in a kaboom in eastern Nangarhar province, local official said.The incident happened earlier today in Khogyani district of Nangarhar while Wakil Saifullah was on the way to a mosque and stepped on a mine, Ahmad Zia Abdulzai, a front man for Nangarhar governor told TOLOnews news hound. Mr Saifullah was a representative of Khogyani district in emergency Loya Jirga in 2002. No group has claimed responsibly for the incident. Mr Saifullah's family members told TOLOnews news hound that he had been warned by the Taliban to stop cooperating with the Afghan government. Security has worried the people of Khogyani district of the province where gunnies often plant Improvised Explosive Devices to target the Afghan and foreign soldiers.
