UKs Cameron: Europe must wake up on extremism
[Arab News] British Prime Minister David Cameron says European governments need to do more to tackle the intolerance that can spawn violent extremism.Cameron told the Munich Security Conference on Saturday that governments have been too tolerant for too long of those who publicly oppose democracy or equal rights for all. He says many convicted beturbanned goons had initially been influenced by so-called «nonviolent krazed killers" before going on to carry out violence. Cameron says "Europe needs to wake up to what is happening in our own countries." Some Europeans have criticized Britain for harboring hardline Islamic holy mans.
